Machine Design Engineer

PLP is seeking a Machine Design Engineer to design production machines, process equipment, fixtures, tooling and implement robotics to optimize the general criteria of function, operation, economics and safety. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Determine specific design criteria and capability required of the machines and equipment both custom built and procured. Create and maintain a complete documentation package for all new designs including assembly, layouts, fabrication details, lab notebooks, test criteria/result and miscellaneous sketches. Prepare appropriation requests, cost estimates, project schedules, project (work) orders, and purchase requisitions. Obtain and analyze quotations, recommend suppliers, etc. Audit and/or oversee the procurement, assembly testing, acceptance, delivery, installation and operator training for the involved machines and equipment. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of custom fabrication machinery. Experience and working knowledge to include mechanical design/detailing, pneumatics, hydraulics, materials and basic electricity as related to machine operation and controller technology. Must be experienced and fluid in CAD, prior experience with 3-D solids software is required; ProE experience is preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
