Android Developer - 3 month Contract 11036
ANDROID DEVELOPER - Contract 3 Months with strong chance of follow-on
Client is writing a custom application for visual inventory management of containers for shipping. Must have at least 2 years of ANDROID development and strong knowledge of imaging and related storage/ transfer from handheld devices.
Must have strong communication and time management/organization skills. REGIONAL REMOTE is possible with possibility of being onsite in Central NC occasionally.
Primary Responsibilities
Creation of functional design documents from provided business requirements
Development of intuitive, scalable mobile applications (non-native) for ANDROID devices
Assists in identifying and leveraging the appropriate technology opportunities for clients
Performs ongoing identification and implementation of standards
Preferred, not required:
Experience with hand-held device such at Telerik, Motorola, and/or Zebra scanning/ barcoding/ inventory control units.
.NET or Web (C#, HMTL5, CSS, JScript) Development experience strongly preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
